Finishing space you already own is the least expensive way to add usable square footage to a house.

What we do

Most houses have room in them that is not doing anything. An unfinished basement, a walk-up attic, an awkward space over the garage. Finishing one of these adds long-term value without pouring a new foundation, and it is often the quickest way to get a bedroom, an office or a rec room out of the house you already have.

We also do a lot of work on the parts of a house you pass through rather than sit in. Entrances and staircases, mud rooms with proper storage, family rooms, great rooms and master suites, along with the custom trim and historic renovation work that older Indianapolis homes tend to need.

Do you use subcontractors on my project?

Very rarely. Ninety percent or more of the work is carried out by our own full-time employees. We bring in licensed specialists where the trade calls for it, typically electrical, plumbing and roofing, but the person framing, tiling and trimming your home is on our payroll. That is what lets us keep control of the schedule and the standard of the finish.

What areas do you work in?

We are based on East 30th Street in Indianapolis and work with homeowners across the city and the surrounding central Indiana communities. If you are not sure whether your address falls inside our area, call the office on 317-955-8984 and we will tell you straight away.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. T. Morgan Construction is a licensed general contractor in Indiana, bonded, and carries both liability insurance and workers compensation cover. We are also an EPA Certified Renovator, which matters on older homes. A certificate of insurance is available on request, and we are happy to provide it before work begins.

What kinds of projects do you take on?

Kitchens, bathrooms, room additions, decks, porches and patios, interior finishing such as basements and attics, and garages. Projects range from a single tub replacement through to a full second-storey addition or a whole-house renovation. If you are weighing up remodeling against moving, that is exactly the conversation we are useful for.

How do I get started?
